Former Ilkley student working with Walkers Crisps

A former Ilkley Grammar School student, who set up his own music production business after completing a degree in music, has produced a television advert.
Henry White, whose business, Dental-Records, is based in a studio in Stoke Newington, London, was commissioned by AMV/BBDO, the UK’s leading advertising agency, to create the latest commercial for Walkers crisps, featuring Gary Lineker.
The advert also includes the work of video musician and mash-up artist Swede Mason, whose latest You Tube phenomenon, Buttery Biscuit Base, stars Greg Wallace of BBC’s hit programme, Master Chef. Since its release in the autumn, it has notched up more than four million hits.
The Walkers commercial, which includes a cover of Craig David’s single What’s Your Flava, challenges Walker’s crisps fans to guess the new flavour and have a chance of winning £50,000.
Mr White, 25, said: “It was a big challenge, but exciting. It was very complex and we had to come up with a good musical riff for the vocals.”
Mr White also performs in a trio, Exmoor Emperor, with former Ermysted’s Grammar School students Nathan Feddo, who studied bass at the Guildhall School of Music, and Tom Overton, who is an English graduate of Oriel College, Oxford.
